After starting a painting business just in time for the housing crash, filmmaker Jimmy Morrison traveled over 48,000 miles to track down the people who saw it coming and look back at the responses to the largest financial crisis since the great depression. Screening the 1st film The Housing Bubble and finishing the new sequel has taken Jimmy another 50,000 miles. The Fall of 2008 is available now after receiving an Independent Filmmaking Award at the Anthem Film Festival during Freedom Fest in Palm Springs, California in June. The final film in the trilogy The Bigger Bubble will premiere in 2026.
The Housing Bubble came out in 2019, covering the causes of the boom and looking back on booms and busts over the past century. The series has sales in over 70 countries and is the definitive work on the causes of the housing bubble in classrooms across the globe.
Recent screenings with writer/director Jimmy Morrison include Hillsdale College in Michigan and Oklahoma State.

The Housing Bubble was finally shown there in 2018, winning an Audience Award at the Anthem Film Festival with Peter Schiff, Doug Casey, Gene Epstein, and Jimmy Morrison. The NYC Premiere at the legendary Angelika Film Center featured a panel moderated by Fox Business’s Liz Claman featuring Jim Grant, Peter Schiff, Gene Epstein, David Tice, Tom Woods, and Jimmy Morrison.
The Fall of 2008 premiered in June 2024 with a panel moderated by Mark Skousen and featuring Peter Schiff, Steve Forbes, John Fund, and Jimmy Morrison.
Also included is the short film My Dad The Honor Flight Director. Bob Morrison personally took thousands of veterans to see their memorials in Washington DC, but after years of working with the elderly, a sudden battle with dementia forced him to step back and refocus.
